Chris and I got our first beehive in the spring of 2008. We took a beginner beekeeping class from Rick Cooper (one of Maine’s master beekeepers) in order to learn the basics and have been hooked ever since. I think one of the biggest things we have learned about beekeeping is that there are no real rules. We are definitely learning by trial and error!
What we do know is that we love bees! And honey!
